I. The Wolf of Eisenschmidt
In the 13th century, a noble wolf named Konrad Eisenschmidt (later known as Connor Eisenwuff) sought more than material wealth. Born into a noble family in Germany and raised on the values of honor and justice, Connor was a tall, strong wolf with wheat-colored hair and piercing blue eyes. Alongside a brave lion friend, he explored the woods of his youth, eventually discovering that the truest treasure was not gold, but the bond of friendship. Following a youthful prank that led to his imprisonment, Connor endured a decade of isolation, sustained only by a single shoe named "Sole"—the remaining footwear of the lion friend he had sacrificed his freedom to save.
II. The Escape & The River Paws
Connor's freedom was forged by a broken canine and a hidden key discovered within Sole's lining. Following a faded map and a handwritten note tucked into the shoe, Connor escaped his cell and fled through Belgium to the North East of England. It was here, after protecting English merchants with his peerless sword-skill, that he tasted the legendary cookies baked with the magical waters of the River Paws. Overwhelmed by the beauty of the area and the kindness of the local family, Connor decided to stay and help build a sanctuary where all furries could be free.
III. The Founding Principles
Pawsbury was built upon the ruins of darkness as a sanctuary of freedom. To walk Furstreet is to honor the Moral Agreement: Respect, Honesty, Compassion, Justice, and Responsibility.
Terms of Service & User Agreement
Effective Date: February 14, 2026 | Jurisdiction: England & Wales
⚠ 1. Strict Age Declaration (Online Safety Act)
By accessing Pawsbury, you solemnly declare under penalty of perjury that you are at least 18 years of age. Pawsbury contains user-generated content suitable only for adults. We accept no liability for minors who access this service by providing false age information. Any account found to belong to a minor will be terminated immediately.
2. Account Security & "Sigils"
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials ("Sigil"). You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Pawsbury is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your password.
3. Right to Terminate ("The Wolf's Prerogative")
Access to Pawsbury is a privilege, not a right. The Administration reserves the absolute right to terminate access, revoke licenses, and ban any account for any reason—or no reason at all—at our sole discretion. We are not required to provide evidence, justification, or a pathway to appeal for an exile.
4. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review the Archives periodically.
Terms of Sale: Virtual Goods
Scope: Transactions, Credits ("Cookies") & Subscriptions
⚠ 1. Nature of "Cookies"
"Service Credits" (marketed as "Cookies") are virtual tokens used solely to access promotional features or cosmetic enhancements. They are not cryptocurrency and are not a financial instrument.
2. Limited License (Not Ownership)
When you purchase Cookies, you are acquiring a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use digital software. You acknowledge that you do not "own" the Cookies. Pawsbury reserves the right to manage, regulate, control, modify, or eliminate Service Credits at any time without liability to you.
3. No Monetary Value (Closed Loop)
Cookies have zero cash value. They cannot be exchanged for GBP, USD, or any other legal tender. You are strictly prohibited from selling or transferring Cookies to other users for real-world money on secondary markets.
4. Waiver of Withdrawal Right (UK/EU Law)
By clicking "Purchase," you expressly request immediate performance of the contract (delivery of Cookies). You acknowledge that you thereby waive your 14-day right of withdrawal under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 once the access has been granted. All sales are final.
5. Forfeiture upon Termination
If your account is banned or terminated for violating the Moral Agreement or these Terms, you forfeit all remaining Service Credits and Licenses immediately. You are not entitled to a refund or compensation for unused credits lost due to a ban.
6. Account Dormancy & Deletion
We reserve the right to terminate or delete any account that has been inactive (no login) for a period of 12 months or longer. We are not responsible for any data (character sheets, logs, gallery images) lost due to dormancy deletion.
7. No Escrow / Trade Disputes
Pawsbury is not a bank, escrow service, or mediator. Any financial transaction between users (e.g., Art Commissions, Adoptables) is a private contract. We are not liable for scams, chargebacks, or failure to deliver goods. Never trade what you cannot afford to lose.
Community Charter
Scope: Public Conduct, Roleplay Etiquette & Safety
1. The "Town Square" Protocol (No DMs)
Furstreet is a public forum. We do not offer private, encrypted Direct Message (DM) services. All communication is considered "Public Performance." Even chats in "locked" rooms are logged for moderation purposes. You have no expectation of privacy regarding content posted on Furstreet.
2. The Zoning System
- LEVEL 1 (Green): SFW. Public Areas. PG-13. No sexual jokes or gore.
- LEVEL 2 (Amber): Mature themes (Tobacco/Alcohol/Dark themes). No explicit visuals.
- LEVEL 3 (Red): Restricted Instances. Adult Roleplay permitted (Consensual only).
3. Roleplay Etiquette (The "Puppet Master" Rule)
Pawsbury relies on mutual consent. The following are prohibited:
- God-Modding: Controlling another user's character or dictating the outcome of their actions without permission.
- Metagaming: Using Out-of-Character (OOC) information to gain an In-Character (IC) advantage.
- Power-Gaming: Forcing a "win" in combat or conflict without giving the other player a chance to react.
- Non-Con: Non-consensual sexual roleplay is strictly banned, even in Red Zones.
⚠ 4. Specific Content Restrictions (The "Red Line")
To ensure compliance with UK Law and server safety, the following are strictly prohibited:
- "Cub" / Underage Content: Any sexual depiction of a character that appears to be under the age of 18, regardless of "lore age."
- Zoophilia / Bestiality: Any depiction of sexual acts involving non-anthropomorphic (feral) animals.
- Hate Symbols: The use of Nazi or hate-group iconography (e.g., armbands) is banned, even in a "historical" or "roleplay" context.
- AI-Generated Content: The use of AI to generate text or images is prohibited to protect human creators.
5. Harassment & The "Iron Curtain"
Harassment is not tolerated. This includes:
- Block Evasion: Using an alternate account or a third party ("flying monkey") to contact a user who has blocked you.
- Shadowing: Following a user across different rooms/instances against their expressed wishes.
- Vigilantism: Posting "Bewares" or callout posts. Report issues to Staff, do not handle them publicly.
6. Merchant's Etiquette
Artists and sellers are welcome, but must respect the flow of conversation:
- No Spam: Do not post commission sheets or sales links in General Chat or RP zones. Use the designated Marketplace channels.
- Solicitation: Unsolicited requests for money or sales in DMs/Whispers are prohibited.
⚠ 7. Ban Evasion & Unauthorized Access
If your account is suspended or banned, you are strictly prohibited from creating new accounts. Any attempt to circumvent a ban (e.g., using VPNs, new emails) will be treated as Unauthorized Access under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We reserve the right to report persistent evasion to your ISP and relevant authorities.
Gallery & Content Upload Policy
Scope: User-Generated Media (Images, Art, Files)
⚠ 1. User Warranties (You Promise...)
By uploading, you warrant that you own the copyright or have a valid license. You accept full legal responsibility for your uploads. Breach of this warranty constitutes fraud.
2. Waiver of Moral Rights
To the extent permitted by law, you unconditionally and irrevocably waive all "Moral Rights" (including rights of paternity and integrity) in your User Content. This allows Pawsbury to resize, crop, or display your content in connection with the Service without liability for "derogatory treatment."
3. Passive Conduit Status
Pawsbury is a host, not a publisher. We act as a passive conduit for user content and assume no responsibility for monitoring the Service for illegal content, though we reserve the right to do so.
4. License to Host
You grant Pawsbury a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display your content on the Service. This license terminates when you delete the content.
Privacy Policy (GDPR)
Data Controller: Furstreet Administration
1. Data We Collect
We collect Identity Data (Email, Username) and Technical Data (IP, Logs, Browser Agent) under the lawful basis of Legitimate Interest to maintain server security, prevent ban evasion, and enforce community standards.
2. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten"). Please contact the Administration to initiate a request.
Liability & Legal Provisions
⚠ 1. Limitation of Liability (The "£100 Cap")
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Pawsbury's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall be limited to the greater of:
- (a) The amount you have paid to Pawsbury in the last 6 months; or
- (b) One Hundred British Pounds (£100 GBP).
2. Waiver of Class Action / Group Litigation
You agree to resolve any disputes with Pawsbury on an individual basis. You waive your right to participate in a class action, group litigation order, or representative proceeding against Pawsbury.
3. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pawsbury, its owners, and affiliates from all claims, damages, and legal costs arising from your violation of these Terms or your infringement of any third-party rights.
4. Force Majeure ("As Is")
Furstreet is provided "AS IS". We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or interruptions caused by factors outside our control (e.g., DDOS attacks, hosting failures, Acts of God).
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of England.
6. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Cookie Policy (Technical Data)
Scope: Browser Cookies & Local Storage
⚠ The "Two-Cookie" Rule
In Pawsbury, we use the word "Cookie" in two distinct ways. It is vital you understand the difference:
- Lore Cookies (Service Credits): These are digital credits used for the economy and features. They are governed by the Commerce tab.
- Technical Cookies: These are small data files stored in your browser to make the website work. They are governed by this policy.
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Under UK Law (PECR), we do not require your consent for "Strictly Necessary" cookies. These are essential for the operation of our WebSocket architecture and account security. These include:
- Session Authentication: To keep your character logged into the Pawsbury server as you move between rooms.
- CSRF Protection: To prevent malicious websites from sending unauthorized commands to your Pawsbury account.
- UI State: To remember your "Archives" scroll progress and UI volume settings.
2. No Third-Party Tracking
Pawsbury is a privacy-first community. We do not use any third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or invasive analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel). Your activity within Pawsbury is never shared with advertisers.
3. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we may use "Local Storage" to cache certain assets (like small UI icons) to improve the loading speed of Furstreet and reduce your data usage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
4. How to Opt-Out
You can block cookies via your browser settings. However, please be aware that Pawsbury will not function without technical cookies. You will be unable to pass through the Gate of Mercy (Login) if session cookies are disabled.
